Suitable for beginners, or anyone wanting to refresh darkroom skills.
We will look at using your film camera, discuss camera controls and composition, and learn how to develop your own black and white film. Then you will make contact sheets, practise darkroom skills, and produce beautiful black and white prints in a small and friendly group.
Darkroom equipment, enlargers, photographic film and paper, processes and chemistry will be explained, plus you will have a full Darkroom Induction as part of the course, so that you will feel confident using the darkroom independently following the course.
