Human Rights Are Our Rights: Putting Our Rights to Work!

What is this event about?

Our economic, social and cultural rights include things like a decent job and home, enough to eat, clothes to wear, a healthy environment, and the chance to learn.

But we know that right now, across the South West, far too many people are experiencing violations of these rights. So how can we put these rights to work for us? How can human rights approaches and human rights framing add extra power to the work we are engaged in? This workshop takes what we've learned in the first workshop further, looking at the practical uses of human rights in our everyday campaigning work, our professional advocacy work, and how we frame how we view life & society.
